Too often, women do not see themselves running for office-they don’t think they have what it takes to win or they just do not know where to start. Emerge South Carolina is here to recruit, train and support women running for office. Why Not YOU!?! Let us help you be a force for change. Emerge South Carolina’s training program offers Democratic women who want to run for public office a unique opportunity. Women who are accepted receive 70 hours of in-depth education over a six-month period designed to give our women the confidence they need to run, as well as the tools to win. Emerge South Carolina trainers will be comprised of an elite team of campaign consultants, advisors, and staff located primary in South Carolina, which provides our class members with a number of options when the times comes to hire their own campaign staff. Applicants must be a Democrat, identify as a woman and reside in South Carolina.
