As Chair of the Georgetown Co. Democratic Party, I want to express my Thanks to everyone who helped make our "Blue Sunday" a big success! The weather cooperated, the Dogwoods bloomed and it was great to meet and hear from so many fabulous Democratic candidates and to the few who were not able to attend, we will have you here for a visit soon! We greatly appreciated Trav Robertson, SCDP State Chair for joining us.
Thank you to all our volunteers who worked the past couple of months to make the event happen and to those who spent most of their Sunday setting up, manning the auction, ticket and info booths and beverages. Many of those are ladies of the Georgetown County Democratic Women's Council - thank you! SCDWC President Hannah Cromley put her artistic talents to work, too! City Councilman Al Joseph was a perfect emcee for the occasion and was generous for giving up some of his "Masters Tournament" viewing time to be there. Thank you to Frank and Raejean Beattie for opening their beautiful Hopsewee to us. Raejean and her staff provided us with a wonderful meal of lowcountry appetizers and (a favorite) an out-of-this-world cupcake bar! The Tea Room

Finally, thank you especially to everyone who bought a ticket, donated an auction item; to everyone who bought a sponsor ticket for a young person and all of our great Democratic friends from Georgetown, Horry, and Charleston Co. who came out and spent some time with us!
